Reproductive & Prenatal Wellness Consultations

Education and Support for the Mom-to-Be

From trying to conceive through prenatal, postpartum and breastfeeding, each special stage of starting a family places unique demands on your body. You need to pay extra attention to your changing nutritional needs as well as balancing your hormones for optimal wellness.

Our reproductive and prenatal wellness consultant holds certifications as a Holistic Nutrition Consultant, birth doula, placenta encapsulation specialist and prenatal and postnatal yoga instructor.

Reproductive Wellness/Fertility Optimization Education and Support

Before starting a family, we can offer you insight, education and support through a nutritional and epigenetic approach.  Our reproductive wellness consultant will help you understand and support pre-menstrual issues, nutritional deficiencies and hormonal imbalances ahead of time to improve your overall health prior to pregnancy.

Prenatal Nutrition and Wellness Consultation

If you are already pregnant, our prenatal wellness consultant will teach you how to nourish your body to stave off common complaints of pregnancy, and ensure adequate nutrient levels for both you and baby. She’ll help you navigate each trimester to support vibrancy and keep you complaint-free.

Tree of Life offers naturopathic and natural health consulting. Naturopaths are not licensed medical doctors, and therefore do not diagnose or treat disease. Rather, we support the body nutritionally, so that the body comes in to balance on its own. Our consultations and therapies may be used as a complement to traditional medical care.

Ways to tell if Your Hormones are Out of Balance

• PMS is a symptom of imbalance. Women were not designed to be plagued by period problems and cramps. It's our bodies’ way of telling us it needs something or doesn’t like something we are doing.

• Acne is another symptom, whether directly related to hormones or as a byproduct of poor gut health (of which hormone metabolism is involved).

• Constipation in certain times of the month

Other symptoms include:

  • Heavy periods
  • Irregular or nonexistent periods
  • Mood swings
  • Hot flashes
  • Weight gain/inability to lose weight
  • Low libido
  • Cravings
  • Anxiety/depression
  • Insomnia
  • Infertility
